Self-Biography

Simon Chudley, currently living and working in the city of London, England.

My profession is Software Engineering, where I currently develop real-time cash equity execution software for the financial industry.

After reading MEng Software Engineering at Southampton University, I moved to London to embark on my career in software development. My career to date has focused on the implementation of real-time, low-latency trading and quote distribution systems.

With a technical background my hobbies include Software Development, Amateur Radio and span various IT/electronics projects.

Both as part of my University studies and outside education, I've produced various papers and articles, or had my projects referenced by others.

Outside work I develop and maintain various websites, such as that of the Mornington Chasers Running Club and provide freelance software consultancy.

I'm a keen road runner, having competed in various half-marathons - although mainly now running for enjoyment. My other sporting passion is badminton which I've been playing recreationally for many years.
