Home-brew Fan Dipole - 20/17/15/10m

I design and construct my main station antennas, making frequent modifications to help improve performance and develop my technical skills.

The antenna is currently configured as two independently centre-fed half wave inverted V dipoles for 10m. The elements are configured in a cross, and switchable from the shack to obtain maximum gain from their directivity.

Ham Radio Shack

Due to space limitations I've had to be a little inventive and squeeze my shack into the top half of a cupboard - not only is my mic to hand, but so also is the iron, hoover and assorted cleaning equipment!

Luckily the cupboard has power sockets and shelves, with enough space for rig, power supply, ATU/meters and a laptop & monitor.
